For those of you who read my introduction (thanks, first of all) you already know that I'm significantly overweight. Well, my sister (a meat eater, always will be, no changing it) is overweight as well and made a pact with me today.
"Both of us will excersize and eat right. Whoever looses the most weight by October gets a free tattoo on the other one's dime."
This is an emotional thing for the both of us. Our parents come home in October from Florida and they have always made comments about our weight. My sister grew up with a much heavier emotional burden because my mom was verbally abusive to her throughout her early childhood. I hope she wins our little competition because I really want her to be happy with her body.
Anyway *tear* that's an emotional subject for me because she such a beautiful person inside and out.
I'm not eating a ton of carbs anymore, or sweets (not that white sugar is vegan anyway).
Today I ate:
0700: Bagel w/peanut butter
0900: handful of almonds
(sleep)
1500: granola/energy bar thing made out of nuts and peanut butter (was delicious)
1700: spinach dip w/tortilla chips
2400: vegetable soup, granola, broccoli, mushrooms, hummus, 1 piece pita bread, cucumber, and green peppers (all raw because I
hate every kind of lettuce except romaine, and they didn't have it @ the salad bar @ work
Oh, I also work third shift everyone! 7p-7a
My days usually go like this
School 8am - 5pm
Sleep 530pm-630pm
Work 7pm - 7am
Sleep 715am-745am
And I sleep on Saturday mornings, and have Sundays off
I know it's not healthy, but I live on my own, and up until like a week ago I've been paying 900 dollars a month in tuition on top of that, plus all the expenses of my car, cell phone, and everything else normal people have to pay for, I go to school full time and work full time
So, that's my life in a nutshell
