Octopussoir
I worked hamstrings and abs today with 8 laps around the track. I took a picture yest after my back workout and it looks as if my chest is getting a little bit fuller and abs appear to be bigger even though you cant see them much due to me eating more these days. Please excuse the non-professional bathroom pose. Dont hate on the bad posing either. http://i43.tinypic.com/21o25xd.jpg

Octopussoir
Thanks for the concern Casey... check your pm's!! I got to the gym at 7am this morning. I did some DB squats(touched the floor) 25lb,45lb,65lb,80lb... Then I was going to squat heavy(which I hate doing by myself), but the squat rack was busy so I hit the leg press machine. Here are sets I did(when I mention a plate or more it means that many on EACH side):1Px102px103px54px55px56px57px3*20 jump squats8px2*50 bodyweight squats9px2*20 standing lunges10px4 did another set for 1 so (x5 total). I really doubted myself, but I pushed myself through extra ones vs last week!!!5px10(wide toes out) seated calf raises did about 100 reps with 90lbsHanging knee raises (on my way out of gym I missed a step and rolled my ankle. Hopefully its not bad. I am icing it now) I will go back this evening and do some leg extensions.
robert
Oh man, careful with that ankle! I rolled mine today because I never tie my shoes and step on lots of curbs...but I didn't hurt myself. Put a cold Pro Bar on it
Octopussoir
I took yest. off and did a little mix today. Quads, pullups, Clean/jerk, biceps, tri's, delts, and run on treadmill for 2 miles. Here some pics. from today: Not great, but not horrible IMO. I hav not tanned in a couple weeks either.. need to get back on that. Also I have not squatted in a couple weeks.. probably why my legs dont look up to par. I guarantee I will be squatting this week Pressing the 80's for 8http://i44.tinypic.com/2pqnl02.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/ofsnk1.jpg Bicep curlin on the machinehttp://i41.tinypic.com/2ex20pj.jpghttp://i40.tinypic.com/9as20p.jpg Overhead pressin 155lbshttp://i42.tinypic.com/6synuq.jpghttp://i43.tinypic.com/1z6saox.jpg Leg extensionhttp://i44.tinypic.com/bfmg6a.jpg I was rockin my Vegan hat and Pro Bar shirt. robert
Sweet man! I love the garden hose veins in the arms! Nice! Good stuff man....only 10 more weeks now....actually 9 weeks and 6 days! I'm doing cardio to catch up to you in leanness...it's coming along. The shirt and hat both look good. Nice lifts too. I'll be in touch this week and hope to have stuff to send you soon. We're selling tons of shirts these days from all the promotion on this forum, myspace, facebook, etc. So that will really help all of us. Also guess what....tons of forum members/myspace friends/facebook friends live in Phoenix! So we'll have our own crowd there from the vegan locals! It should be sweet. All the best man....keep after it...we're almost there!
xjohanx
Hey dude the pics looks awesome! You guys inspired me to try and press heavier on the shoulders but I'm wondering how the ROM should be. Some people (like me) take it as far down as I can while some stop as early as when the elbow is paralell to the floor, what's your take?
Zack
Deep, your delts need the stretch.. halfway is essentially triceps.

Octopussoir
... I'm wondering how the ROM should be. Some people (like me) take it as far down as I can while some stop as early as when the elbow is paralell to the floor, what's your take? Its all about feeling the muscle! I actually almost touch my shoulders with the weights and then back up. Go for the feel and not necessarily the depth. Do partialls with something like a Smith machine and: keep it from chest to chin for 30repsforehead to lockout for 30 and then a full 30. Bet by the time you do the full you will be burnt. If the pics of my delts say anything then take in the info I give. Thanks Tasha.

Octopussoir
Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been having problems with my internet. Yesterday I did Heavy Hamstrings, Heavy Calves, Heavy Abs and some lat pulldowns. It seems as I have been preparing for this show I dont get sore much. Im gonna have to start doing 2 a days just so I get that extra pump. My traps are a little sore from the other day, but thats the only thing. Today my workout is gonna be:Squats, Arms, delts, and cardio.

Octopussoir
Thank you so much Fallen Horse and John V!!! I have been working very hard and it seems Im going to have to step it up a bit as well. Im eating more these days(which Im not sure is good), but Im able to make it through two hour workouts without much fatigue. The one thing I have noticed since preparing for this show is my hand muscle and grip strength have almost disappeared. I cant hold onto really heavy weight for long(without straps) and doing the simplest things like dips just tears me up right to the bone. I have never had this problem as I have always had meaty hands and great grip strength. Im working through it though! I dont have any great video like robert and giacomo, but I will have more pictures as of today. Im doing Chest, Back, and Bi's. Hopefully I can get some awesome pics taken. Octopussoir
Yeah Buddy... Ive been slackin online!! Anyway, here are my workouts from this week: Sunday the 15th- Quads, delts, bi's/tris and 2 mile run(cardio)Monday- Heavy Traps and LatsTuesday- A.M. cardio 40 minutes, Heavy Hams, Abs, CalvesWednesday- Heavy Squats, Tris/delts, 8 total sprints(soccer field [cardio])Thursday- Chest 1 hr, Back 1 hr, and 1 hr cardio(40min precor/20min bike)Friday- (got woke up during nap and couldnt quite get into a workout) OFFSaturday the 21st- OFF--main goal was eating and sleeping today.Sunday(predicted)- a little of everything and then lots of cardio I feel Im doing very well with my workouts. Still a little unclear about how much cardio I need. My eating is just fresh fruits, veggies, bown rice/quinoa, etc. A Probar when I feel I need the calories and if im going to burn it off later. Im having CRAZY cravings. Today I wanted about 2 pizzas, ice cream, bread. I just know when this show is over Im going to take a week and just freakin eat all week. Cant go off how I eat competely cause summer will be right around the corner and we all know I have to look good for the pool! Im not taking my calcium nor my spirulina everyday. Most days I get the sprilulina, but have to choke down my calcium supp. Vega is being taken about 2-5 times a day. Ate peanutbutter today for the first time in weeks. I plan on doing about 2 hours or so of cardio tomorrow. Hopefully I have the energy. Gonna be a mix of boring treadmill, precor, then sprint some. I like sprints because Im pretty fast and powerful for short distances and I always feel it in the hammies afterwards. Signing off for now.
