Meru's Training Log

I am training for martial arts (Bujinkan ninjitsu), several forms of dance (Bellydance, Pole dance, Latin) and I also want to achieve a fitness physique (something I've never tried before)

 

At the moment I have had to put a hold on my cardio work as my doctor has picked up a fast heart rate that isn't easily explained (my heart gets to almost 200bpm after 5 minutes cardio at 50% perceived effort). Unfortunately I have to wait another two weeks before I could get booked in for an ECG.

 

I'll be posting my training one day at a time.

 

Sunday:

General Stretching

Splits Stretching

15 minutes Belly dance conditioning

 

Crunches 2 sets 30 reps

Plank 30 seconds

Leg curls 3 sets 12 reps

Bridges 2 sets 20 reps

Leg Extensions 3 sets 12 reps

Calf Raises 3 sets 20 reps

Push ups 3 sets 10 reps

Bench Press 3 sets 10 reps

Upright Row with Bands 2 sets 12

Bench Dips 2 sets 10 reps

Barbell Curl 2 sets 10 reps

 

General Stretching

General Stretching

 

Crunches 2 sets 35 reps

Plank 35 secs

Bridges 2 sets 30 reps

Push ups 3 sets 11 reps

Bench press 3 sets 12 reps 10kg weight

Tricep Kickbacks 3 sets 12 reps 5kg

Tricep lifts 3 sets 12 reps 5kg

Hammer curls 3 sets 15 reps 5 kg

donkey kicks 2 sets 20 reps

Inner thigh isolator with resistance band 2 sets 20 reps

Standing One leg glute lifts 2 sets 15 reps
