Guest
Detroit v. Pittsburgh. Game 1 just started 11 minutes ago. I'm routing against Detroit. They've had enough success over the past 10-15 years.

MaryStella
Lucky bounces happen in hockey. We'll see what comes of tonight. I can't wait! Also when they get back to pitt it should be interesting too.
Guest
I've never seen two goals scored bounce off of the back of a goalies legs twice in the same game.
Guest
It looks like Pitts going down 2-0 in this series unless they can pull off a miracle with 4 minutes left in regulation down 3-1 in the 3rd.
JW
Detroit is just too solid throughout its lineup. The only way teams seem to be able to beat them is through an extremely hot goaltender.Doesn't look like that's going to happen this series.
Gaia
Just give us the Stanley Cup already. Though I am one of those wives who don't mind being a widow during the playoffs So keep on playing with Pitt, and keep my hubby entertain for hours on end at night. It is better to hear him swearing at some stupid pass, or yelling when Detroit scores!!!!! instead of at the computer where the tool app just crashed his program (alias his "work" at home time which is now in between periods). Guest
This will be there 5th Stanley Cup championship win in 11 seasons. Its not fair. The Red Wings are the Evil Empire. I was an Edmonton fan in the 80's. Now I know how fans of other teams must have felt during their reign. The only thing that could beat them was Steve Smith and Peter Pocklington. I just stumbled across this article. I didn't know about this. What comes around goes around. Pocklington arrested in bankruptcy casehttp://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=3971450 Peter Pocklington Busted, Glen Sather Posts $1M Bailhttp://bleacherreport.com/articles/139027-pocklington-busted-sather-posts-1m-bail

Guest
I felt sorry for Steve Smith, I think that was his rookie season or at least his first full season in the NHL.

hsorlando
I can't wait to see this game tonight. Of course everyone at work will be quite horrified that I passed up game one in the NBA finals with Orlando magic, and LA lakers, to watch a boring hockey game.
