veganistic
Hey guys. Started my first day of recording my eating and the Stronglifts 5x5. I cycled in to school as well which is roughly 7 miles. Would love some advice on the cycle/jogging thing. I'm pretty thin right now. The goal is to get from 147lbs to 170lbs and to start seeing some muscle mass. Will the cycling and jogging slow the process down? Below is my intake today. I always thought I ate so much and that I had a really fast metabolism, turns out I was completely wrong. Now that I am tracking what I eat I can't believe how I was eating before.http://www.prairiedogdesign.com/training/230410.jpg

veganistic
Went hiking with my wife around the beautiful Peak District yesterday. I brought plenty of food which is posted below. Along with my stronglifts 5x5 workout I have committed to getting up every morning at 6am for at least 30 days. This is my 3rd day. I'm a little tired but I love it. It's the discipline and habit that I have been searching for. So my program is:6am rise every morning (no matter what time I got to bed).3200 KCal a dayStick to the stronglifts 5x5 workout religiously Goal:More disciplineoptimum healthgain 25lbs as fast as possiblegain noticeable muscle masshttp://prairiedogdesign.com/training/24:04:10.jpgThis was my intake yesterday. veganistic
Tomorrow is my second day lifting (adding weight is exciting even though it's not much). It's also the 4th day of my diet and 6am mandatory rise. The London marathon was today. It was amazing to see all the athletes. I would love to represent active vegans next year, but first I need to get strong.
veganistic
I loved lifting yesterday. I felt energized from it. Later on, around 4pm I start to get tired. Attached is yesterdays intake. I'm feeling a bit sick from the eating. I think its just my body getting used to it. I'm hoping that this will get easier in a little bit. http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/26:04:10.jpg Fat (37%) Carbs (43%)Protein (20%) Alcohol (0%)
veganistic
This is the Last two days intake. I've been experiencing a bit of indigestion the last few days, water helps. I had papaya yesterday and so so far I feel good. I finished my 3rd day workout and my fourth is tomorrow. I'm on my seventh morning of getting up at 6am religiously. I've never felt better. It is amazing what you can get done in the few hours of the early morning. Ever since I read this article http://stronglifts.com/how-to-wake-up-early-the-definitive-guide/ I've been determined to get up. http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/27:04:10.jpghttp://prairiedogdesign.com/training/28:04:10.jpg
veganistic
Had a good day of eating. Lots of calories. Looking forward to tomorrows workout. Also bought a scale today, I'm currently at 147lbs (66.5kg). Lets hope this eating works. http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/29:04:10.jpg
veganistic
Last two days. I've been trying to boost my intake to 5000 calories a day. Right now I'm weighing in at 145 (first thing in the morning) which is depressing but hopefully this eating will help. I'm definitely finding it hard to eat that much. I'm constantly full with no passion for food anymore. Its for the greater good though.'http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/30:04:10.jpghttp://prairiedogdesign.com/training/1:05:10.jpg

veganistic
I'm weighing 151.2lbs! I've never broke 150 before. I'm super stoked. I've been eating over 5000 calories a day for last few day and I've really seen a weight increase.http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/06:05:10.jpg
veganistic
Sticking to the stronglifts program religiously. Little sore today but yoga should sort that out. I'm weighing 151.4lbs first thing this morning. I ate so much yesterday, I hope that'll bulk me up a bit.http://prairiedogdesign.com/training/07:05:10.jpghttp://prairiedogdesign.com/training/08:05:10.jpg
veganistic
My internet has been down for a while but I'm back. I'm still on the stronglifts program. I was struggling with overhead presses badly. I recently found out I was doing them wrong. I was doing a clean and jerk style for every rep. I didn't realism it's only from the chest up. I'm weighing 161lbs which is incredible. I never thought is was possible. Now that I'm here though I want to keep bulking up. I noticed I'm only putting on weight when I eat around 5000 to 6000 calories a day. All beautiful whole vegan foods, mostly organic. I'm also still getting up at 6am with no exceptions.
veganistic
Haven't posted in a while. I'm still sticking to my program religiously. my work out at present is:SQUAT5x575kg(165lbs) Overhead press5x545kg(99lbs)plateauing big time! Deadlift1x590kg(198lbs) Pull-ups3xF Prone Bridges3x30sec As I said. I've reached a plateau with the overhead press. Which as I'm reading is normal. Depressing though, but I'm not going to let it get me down. On a lighter note (or a heavier note) I'm weighing in at 162lbs (72.7kg) which is incredible I never thought it was possible! I still get up at six am every morning which has changed my life. I'll be adding some before and after pictures shortly!
