This just came to me as a fun activity for next summer and a great way to meet gay dudes who ride. I'll have to train vehemently if I want to keep up and enjoy riding long distances. As far as what I'll be riding, my fixie probably won't cut it unless I assembled a gang of fixie riders to do it with me.

I did the Boston to New York aids ride in 1997 . Real good experience. Had a great time. I think you will really enjoy it whether you are gay or not. LOL

Definitely getting a road bike for this but I will ask how many are going to ride a fixie on this quest just because I'm curious.
