Anyone here ever participate in a Tough Mudder? I am thinking about doing one on November 21st in NJ. Wanted to hear about other people's experiences.

Yes I did the tough mudder that was held in PA this year. I would say go for it. it is a fun time and it isn't really that tough. Your going to have to trail run and crawl through mud, jump in cold water etc. but most of the obstacles are totally doable. If you have any specific questions let me know. TOUGH MUDDER!

I would love to do one of these. I have been checking out the web site and looking to perhaps do Indiana in November. Anyone else?

I just did a spartan in September and it was AWESOME. It was 4.8 miles up a black diamond with about 15 obstacles. LOVE the fire, mud and barbed wire. Walls galore, tough trail, ice cold water, dragging heavy sh*t for the sake of dragging heavy sh*t. I passed many dudes puking on the way up, kinda glad I always did endurance....
I am signed up for the spartan beast next september, and the one I did this year in PA and the tri state sprint. I am thinking about doing the mid west one too. If you like this stuff check out my blog or my fitness journal on this forum :D

I'm probably going to do this one next year since it's only about 30 minutes from my parents house:

I did this last year and will do it again in 2012. SUPER fun race.

Maybe this was posted elsewhere but a vegan won the women's division in the World's Toughest Mudder which is essentially a 24-hour tough mudder. Definitely worth the title of "world's toughest woman".
