And I ate too much food. It's fucking tasty, seriously! Vegan fish and chips, can't be beaten. El had steak and chips, and I also ordered a buffet, so we had prawn crackers, noodles, spring rolls, and spicy tofu things. I love it, I wish I could have it every day. Really cheap as well.

For the record for those who haven't been....by no means the "healthiest" food. Lots of fried and heavily processed foods, but they do have some really good fresh spring salad rolls and things like rice dishes, etc.

Cheap, large quantities and an all vegan place that has more locations popping up all over the world all the time. Most of them are in Asia now, but tons of in the US opening all the time too...as well as other countries.

yeah - it's not healthy at all, just great tasting. Of course you could go in and eat the salad, but it's not the point of the place, it's to enjoy some tasty food. I've started to go from time to time when I get the opportunity, but I wouldn't go regularly because I'd get fat real quick!

Chewy - this one is in Norwich, I think there are a couple in London and one in Brighton. Not sure about Scotland though

Octo - You can buy the fish from the frozen section too, though they were sold out today. I'll check it out sometime when I go later in the year and give you the ingredients, but it's a processed thing, not sure it could be done in a regular kitchen. I remember when I bought some frozen before that I was surprised at how few ingredients there were though.

There's a Loving Hut here in Orlando, FL. I can't say its my absolute favorite vegan place to eat, but it is vegan, and it can be cheaper than some of the other vegan restaurants in my area. I do like the quinoa dishes, and some of their fake chicken dishes. I also got one of their desserts once and that wasn't bad either.

Yeah, also convinced about 4 non-vegans to check it out too

Seems like the menu is very different in every location, so I don't know what you'd find in America.

One of the things I really love about it, other than it being vegan, is that it's just fun food. So many vegan / vege places that I've seen have such boring stuff. I dunno, maybe I am just a terrible eater, or childish in my tastes, but it's like people seem to think that vegans just eat nut roasts, mushroom soup and lentils or something. This kind of food isn't available anywhere else, for me at least. So it's just awesome to go there from time to time.

I think that is a very reasonable statement. We do recognize old tastes and enjoy certain types of foods (salty, etc.) they ignite our senses and can bring job.

Some super healthy food places can be very boring. I like something in the middle. I prefer other places over Loving Hut, but I've also been to more places than almost anyone due to my travel.....I like healthy foods along with my vegan pizzas

curious to see what was in this post. VegNews did an article on the founder of loving hut this year (i think a few months ago I can't remember what issue exactly) and for VN I thought it was a pretty controversial article especially considering the source. I've never been to one but I would try it at some point.

there is one in madrid. not fancy, but cheap.

That's cool, our Loving Hut is not cheap at all. It's the most expensive place we eat. They also charge for things you did not order, have to watch your bill carefully. I only use cash now too after they double charged our credit card.

Total contrast to the Camden one, where you choose yourself what you think is a fair price....
