I've been 95% vegan for 11 months now after having previously 2 years before, eliminated dairy products after discovering lactose intolerance. To go with my dairy elimination, I avoid gluten at all costs! My gastrointestinal system (IBS) is better managed with a strict no animal products, no dairy and no gluten! Tough regimen but do-able as well as I feel like a million bucks! Day off from work, headed to gym. Jumped on stationary bike for 15 mins..... Nice low-key ride w/ favorite playlist. Next up, pool time- swam 20 mins (600 yds ) then aqua jogged 5mins- 5 min cool down stretched. Nice workout since Ive been off bike during winter months.... Nutrition today was good.... Still managing to keep processed sugar foods ( only 2tsp in am coffee & a piece of 70%dark chocolate!!) got my 4 servings of fruit in along w/ salad before lunch & Dinner!! Wahoo!! Today was day 2 of attempting a strict approach of not eating processed foods (gluten free, vegan foods that are tasty are also very processed!) I managed..... C.O. Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 95% vegan is really impressive. I'd be happy if I could pull off 75%. Working at it though! But yeah dark chocolate is the best, hehe.
