You have had one of the most entertaining training journals on here hands down haha. I say go for it, chop off your locks. I've always been a fan of women with the pixie cut. Looks great on Halle Berry and Keira Knightly, not that they were ever going for don't mess with me. But if you can pull off too sexy to mess with that's the best of both worlds right? More power to ya! Thanks for sharing your journal with all of us on the forum.

Ha. I'm glad at least one person finds my life mildly exciting :)

I wasnt gonna train today but I did because at the end of the week some shit came up and ill be taking friday off, not sure about thursday, at least ill do cardio but not sure if ill lift.

Standing Military Press: 45x12, 50x10, 55x8, 60x6
DB Laterals: 12.5x12x3
DB Front Raises: 12.5x12x3
Rear Delt Machine: 25x12, 25x12, 20x12
Uprights: 40x12, 50x12x2
DB Back Shrugs: 25 eachx12x3
Tricep cable pressdown: 70x12, 80x10, 90x8
Overhead Tricep Cable with rope: 40x12x3
One handed head bangers: 12.5x12x3
Bench Dips: Bodyweight x 16, 16, 20
20 minutes hill walking

Made my tanning appt and put down my deposit. Im gonna need someone to shave my back for me in May.

Yeah i used to call them skull crushers until my trainer told me they were head bangers.

With trainer today.

Deadlift 115x12, 125x10, 135x8, 145x6...he wanted me to go lighter to "get all the reps in" even tho he said my form was fine the last time with the last set being 185x6
Tbar 40x12, 45?x10, 50?x8
One armed row machine: 25x12, more weight? x12, more weight x12
Seated Rows: 75x12, more weight x12, more weight x12
Close Reverse Grip pull down: 60x12, more weight x12, 90x12
Straight pulls 30x12x3
Lying Ham curls: 45x15, 50x12, 60x10, he helped
Seated Ham Curls: 15, 12, 10, dunno what the weight was
Stiff DL 70x12, 80x12x2
20 minutes cardio, random route on treadmills at trainers gym dont do a very steep incline, speed 3.8-4.3mph

body weight 145.8, yesterday 144.8. body fat 23.3%. although i feel i look leaner, i am not losing fast enough for my liking :(

1-2lbs a week is pretty good, in my opinion, and anything higher and you're losing hard earned muscle along with fat. Don't get too caught up in losing a lot right now because you're still a while out from comp.

Yeah I guess so, im on pace to be 125 my June if i keep losing 5 lbs per month. Im just inpatient!! also, isnt it easier to lose weight faster in the beginning of a diet? I worry that the loss will slow and i wont get to 125...

As you get more LBM, you will become a furnace. Add in extra cardio those last few weeks...RIPPED. You're totally on track. I really respect your committment, ....i could never bulk to cut cause i cant handle my clothes being tight and freaking even over this 5 i gained....and in process of losing. I feel like i am cutting and impatient as well. Kudos on the loss so far!

The first couple of weeks yield a lot of water-weight loss so, according to the scale, you'll see big numbers lost. However, once that happens, it's a relatively slow and steady ride but, like divamom said, the more you cut down to LBM, the more you're furnace like you're going to become. If you start going crazy over the scale, see if your trainer will let you take a week or so away from daily weigh-ins and just go by feel - you're going to start looking and feeling lean as hell pretty soon.
