meat eaters have casein at night. vegans have?
OK so looking for a good slow digesting "casein alternative" to have at night before bed. I guess you could say a healthy evening snack that can feed the muscles while you sleep. any ideas?

I'll third that one.
The powers that be seem to have only started talking about casein protein at night for bodybuilders around the mid 90s, and nobody seems to have had much of a problem getting big prior to that "discovery". Me, I just usually have two scoops of Vega about 30-60 minutes before bed on lifting days, puts in a bit of a late-night "meal" with enough protein, and I can't see it being any less effective than eating a few cups of cottage cheese as far as being effective for some last-meal-of-the-night nutrition. Except that, unlike cheese, Vega won't bid you up on the iside
