You will have days like this more and more. Motivation will take a back, back, back seat to everything. Routine then kicks in and gets you thru. Just go with that. Know that it is normal, and everybody , bodybuilders or no, have days like this. Yours is special since you are a bodybuilder - IMO of course is biased!
Do you really weigh everything still? I can usually gauge how much tofu know just by cutting the big block into 3's. And rice is pretty much 1/2 the bowls I have. You should be able to whip out the food by now. Then again, you could spread it out over the week, and be like me and cuss when there just isn't any time to get this and that all ready. You are smart in doing all your cooking in one day (alot of work for the day, but a big payoff for the whole week!).

Why does everything look better in the morning?

Just keep rock'n it girl. These weeks will fly by so quickly, and you will be up on stage (dreaming of your after pre-judging pizza/meal, and then partying after the show is over and you have a trophy in your possession).

140.2 lbs yesterday, 138.0 today.

Chest yesterday:
Flat DB supsersetted with DB Flyes:
30x12, 20x12; four times
Incline DB supersetted with Incline db flyles:
25x12, 15x12; three times
Cable Flyes: 30x12x3
Underhand cable Flyes: 20x12x3
Assisted Dips:+90lbsx12, 8, 7. Dips are the worst these days.
Barbell Curls: 25x12,35x10, 45x8, dropset to 35x8, 25x12
Incline DB Curls: 20x12x3 (had to cheat a little bit on last two sets,,,the only only bench i could get was really shallow [non-adjustable incline bench])
Hammer curls: 15x12x3
30 minutes cardio.
Really wanted to get up early and do cardio and abs before work but i couldn't make myself. I was so tired yesterday I could barely keep my eyes open at 9pm...but got a second wind and couldnt sleep until midnight. after work at 8.

i find I like BOTH...really early a.m workouts and late evening, but not real late at night. But, when I was on the road working, going at 9 PM was not uncommon. Keeps our head on! FOCUS! (he who teaches learns twice)

Yeah i used to run in the morning, go to work, then lift in the afternoon/evening, and then run around my block (2.2 miles) When i was only working part time sometimes id split it into even threes...now i dont understand where that energy came from. well actually it was probably from all the food i was eating! Today a coworker commented (unsolicited) on how different (skinny) i've been looking. shes like, you can really see it, and made an hour glass motion with her hands. also someone on friday randomly told me i looked like i lost weight. so that made me happy although i was feeling a bit pudgy today. felt like my face looked tired, bad complexion. whatever. still on track...blindly following my exercise plan and diet. new work responsibilities might call for an adjustment in water consumptions (meaning maybe more later in the day, which may cause more trouble falling asleep)

20 minutes cardio, level 16. 3.6mph-4.5
20 crunches with 20 lb weight, 20 leg raises (bosu ball chair thingie), 20 ball crunches, 20 crunches on moderate decline using 5 kg ball held
overhead.

My family who only see me once in awhile, said they noticed that my face was really different. They saw me in-between comps that summer.

I think when others start seeing the changes (even if you think you don't look very different) is one of the best ways to mark your improvement. I remember when I came home from college after getting into fitness and my family saying stuff like, "You're so tiny now!" Which, retrospectively isn't the response I really wanted (I never want to be called "tiny" but I guess that's what a ton of cardio will do) but I thought I looked the same.

Stay the course - even on days when you don't feel like you look your best. Once you get deeper into the cut, it's going to be more of a psychological battle because you're going to have less things to actually change so the ones that still need work are really going to bug you out. Listen to what others are saying about your appearance and it'll keep things in perspective.

You guys make really good points. Thank you. Scale Readings: 138.0, 136.0, 138.0, 136.0. Overslept 30 minutes so I had no time to take any more readings to see what won out. So tired and hungry.

Leg Press: 90x15, 180x12, 230x10, 280x8
Squats: 85x15, 95x12, 100x10, 105x8
Plie Squats: 70x20, 75x20, 80x20
Walking Lunges: 60x20stepsx3
Leg Ext: 50x15, 65x12, 80x10, 95x8, dropset, 50?x8, 40x8? 35x8...something like that
Calf ext on leg press: 50x15x3
seated calf raise: 45x12, 11, 12
30 minutes cardio level 14.

Got up early this AM to do 40 minutes of medium cardio. Not early enough to get abs done. Going back to the gym later.

need to return this scale tomorrow, two readings today, 137.8, 138.2, one after the other, kept going back and forth, got one reading if i have it set to also read body fat, another reading if i set it to do weight only... also i weighed a 15 lb dumbbell and it's off by .2, which coach says is a bad sign right there.
Got my four giant ab supersets in yesterday after work, moved everything up to 30 reps...
Today 30 mins cardio before doing shoulders/Tris
Four supersets of smith press with db lateral raises
three supersets of uprights with db front raises
three sets 12 rear delt machine
two sets 12 back shrugs, 25 lbs
two sets 10 back shrugs supersetted with 10 regular shrugs, 30 lbs
Triceps press down, 12, 12, 12, drop set, 12, 12
Overhead french press 25lbs x12 x3
One arm head bangers 10lbs x12 x3
body weight bench dips x25x3
yelled at me for the excessive truvia, could be affecting weight.
gotta stop taking bc and the occasional sleeping pill as well, picked up some gaba.
said i look thinner

And that's so annoying about your scale.

Definitely considering cutting all the stevia/sugar replaces I drink - I've increased my intake and can feel the difference in how much fluid I'm carrying around/being bloated. I can only imagine how the scale would jump around from it as well.

3 readings of 134.8. It's weird how on Saturdays I'm always so light. You would think Friday night I'm out tying one on lol. Awake until 3am, noisy neighbors, racing thoughts, cat gouging my eyeballs out at 5:30am...interesting about the truvia are you still eating captain crunch? I have some fritos and nutter butters I might eat later lol. Also, an unfrosted strawberry poptart (the frosted ones had gelatin), but someone who ate one the other day said it was mad dry...i might go for cookie dough ice cream however i have plans to go out so that wont travel in my purse...need to double check that the nutter butters are vegan but im pretty sure they are. i think it has trans fat tho lol.

I was telling Yeti ( so sweet with his moutacheless beard and about the same age as my eldest- only eldest has a chin beard thing happening-and he is quite handsome I might add),...enviro kidz makes a mean Gorilla Crunch; tastes just like the Captain--complete with ripping the roof off the top of your mouth ( Leapin Lemurs are reminiscent of Reeses Cereal)

I am motivated and off to the gym, NOW, inspired by your 134.8...I feel like a fat ass reading that! Kudos, and whats a "BC" and yup...get rid of the truvia! Can't you eat like a sodium free dill pickle or a carrot or something? ( I was allowed 3 carrots a day, 8 almosnd and a dill picle from my coach if I needed "something")...and you saw how lean I was before I started!

LOL i have no issues eating the transfats tonight. just pointing it out lol. definitely gonna take a trip to the natural market to see if i can make some better junk food choices though...but even after the less evil choices are still gone and the 60minutes is still ticking, imma likely pop in some fritos and nutter butters lol. i have no shame. i am allowed to eat pickles and sodium isnt limited to me at this time, i can have as much as i want. 8 almonds would add too much extra fat, i eat 19 of them every day during my third meal. i will have to subsist on diet soda. although its horrible for me, i wont be able to consume enough for it to have an effect on metabolism, says my trainer. BC is birth control...estrogen.....not sure if it makes you less lean...i know there is a lot of discourse about that, but perhaps its just an excuse that girls use for gaining weight around that age when they start taking it, they also start drinking, go away to college, eat like crap, stop taking gym in school etc. i sure as hell used it as an excuse. either way its a variable that i dont need. i am supposed to take it to decrease the risk of ovarian cancer that runs in my family, but missing three months shouldnt be a problem. went to my old gym today as my best friend's guest, a trainer came up to me and ripped me apart on my stiff DL form, but my trainer has no issues with my form. i took it in stride and thanked him, and was sure to add that i already have employed a trainer.

Deadlift supersetted with two arm DB rows:
115x15, 25x12; 135x12, 25x12, 145x10, 25x12, 155x8, 25x2
T-bar: 45x12, 55x10, 65x8
Seated rows supersetted with reverse grip pull down: 70x12, 70x12; 80x10, 70x12; 90x8, 70x12
Wide Grip pull downs: 70x12x3
Straight Pulls: 30x12x3
Seated leg curls supersetted with still DL: 50x15, 110x12; 60x12, 110x12; 70x8, 110x8 with *corrected form* which felt awful, and i lost my grip, and i had two trainers on top of me...
Lying leg curls: 40x15, 50x12, 60x10, drop 40x10, 20x16
30 minutes cardio. at one point incline was at 14%, only going 3.8mph but other than that mostly kept the speed evenly between 4.0 and 4.4, going up .1 every minute to 4.4, then down .1 to 4.0 and repeating. the treadmill stated i burned 280 calories.

off to do a bit of shopping for a tank top to wear tonight to show off the guns. lol.
