To me it was hilarous:
The office lady at the gym: "What do you want to get down to?"
Me: "Oh, I think 135 would be OK"
Lady: "How long will you stay down at that weight?"
Me: " Oh, probably one day"
Lady laughs out loud, and shakes her head: "Only you would say something like that"

The point is, you are dieting to look ripped up on stage for the day. Of course you are going to be too thin for a month or so to those around you that do not fully understand. But to us, you look awesome! Tell your Mom not too worry too much, but to be supportive in the next 3 weeks as they will be hard on you. A nice leisurely stroll sounds so nice.

Ugh i cant believe tomorrow is back day again! boo! i enjoy shoulder day. also one of my shoulder veins now has texture, small as it may be it was there.. but only when im lifting...not normally..

This is why BBers pump up before they go stage: vascularity mostly! Good practice! Just wait till you dehydrate! That is when the vein show begins!

hahah nice. but some ppl walk around with vascularity and its not fair.

just ate my oats and protein with no sweetener aside from the xylitol thats in the sweetener. gonna experiment today and have no sweetener packets or diet coke. of course the xtend has sweetener in it but thats all ill have..

So yesterday and today I totally freaked out about my hair thinning. My mom says it looks the same, so does my coach and I asked a coworker she said she wouldnt have noticed until I said something, but its still thick. So I went to the dermatologist and explained everything - 30 lbs lost since January, stopped birth control, crazy diet. I also explained that i've been known to pick at my scalp. He said since he doesnt know me from before he cant tell if its gotten thinner but it looks average, but that most certainly that kind of a shock to your system often causes hair loss, that reverses when everything is stabilized. I was actually really nervous he would lecture me about my diet but said as long as i start to get enough calories, protein, and fruits and veggies in the future, ill be fine. no need for meat. He said that i have no scars from picking so thats not the issue. Honestly i'm so dysmorphic at this point i dont even know what to think or what i look like. My mom came with me and i was crying and she was assuring me that im crazy, that this contest prep is getting to me, just get thru the next 2.5 weeks and go back to normal balance...
