What's a normal day of eating look like for you? I find I get some great nutrition ideas from people on here.

Looking forward to following your training, and as per anybody else feel free to shout out of you want any help or advice with anything. Hope you are having a nice lazy weekend, sounds like you are lol.

I need to do some fruit shopping today, I've been craving a few different ones lately. You eat any fruits or foods that aren't overly common?

Sounds like you have the right attitude about things mrbear. Haha I am having a hard time not cracking up referring to a real person as mrbear. We should put up a thread about who has eaten the most bananas in a day or have a competition to see who can eat the most.

Wow, that's an insane amount of bananas !!!!

I miss the big bike rides, when I was training for cycling my longest rides were about 200km which when I was in top condition could knock out in about 5hr30. I found I could maintain my muscle mass a lot better with cycling, but with running it vanishes really fast.

Um, not sure I want to be a part of that banana eating contest haha.

Post up a photo of your bike mate, I'm assuming it's a road bike?

Trek looks nice, what model is it? Guessing from your seat height you must be pretty tall? Here are my couple of bikes...

The yellow Jeff Bruce is a custom bike that's mainly been assembled from Colnago/Campag parts but I'm running DuraAce on it. The red Avanti has been set up more for my Ironman/triathlon side of things. Funny thing is that the yellow one is probably faster!

That top pic of me on the Jeff Bruce bike ~ I also liked to pretend I'm Fabian Cancellara! That shot was taken just after I'd gone off the front during a city criterium race. Managed to hold 60kph on my own for a 1km lap before I got caught and I think I ended up finishing more or less dead last haha. My tactics are pretty shit sometimes.

Nah, don't ride much at the moment just because of the powerlifting. I find I need to focus completely on whatever sport I'm doing but I do miss the cycling. I was always best in the hills because of my low bodyweight, windy conditions and TT's I was useless! How about yourself, where do you normally ride and what kind of courses do you prefer? Do you race at all?
