LOL.. members won't see the pending posts but if you look at their profiles you might see links for things. I think, however, I may have found a way of keeping them at bay for now. Basically, there's a large botnet out there spamming multiple forums (vBulletin and phpBB forums alike as well as blogs like Wordpress) in an attempt to "advertise". So until they are taken down, we've been hit. Most of it's been hidden from members but from a moderators point of view it's been a bit of a nightmare (one day we had over 100 registrations and nearly 500 posts -- what makes it harder is that they do single postings so means dealing with every individual posting rather than a bulk ban to remove posts).
