From another forum obviously, have been chatting to this guy for a while and he knows and respects my beliefs and opinions. Pretty happy with how he's came around, I'm going to work with him for a while until him and his wife are comfortable with their new diet and lifestyle

Hey Mini I thought I'd let you know that me and my woman just watched the video Steve O. made for veganism, and she is ready to cut all meat out of our diet now. we have pretty much only been eating chicken breast, but chickens have feelings also, I'm going to try.

Dude, I am an animal lover. I have a militant vegan friend, and it grows on me. Now my woman is showing the same compassion for animals. I think we might still eat eggs and dairy products, show me why we shouldn't. Fish too, sparringly. mercury is a killer.

That is great man, I'm happy for you both. You won't regret it I can tell you now. Just look at buying eggs that aren't from caged hens MF.

cool, thanks.

I will go to bed a happier person tonight.

Hearing a farm sanctuary presentation about the horrors of even the dairy and egg industry, and then finding this board, did it for me.

The meet your meat vid was pretty convincing as well, I think it has stuff in there about eggs and dairy.

Pictures can be worth a thousand words. Both pictures of the healthy vegan athletes, and pictures of the meat leather fur dairy and egg industry as it really is:

And then of course pictures of happy animals

Joel took the words right out of my mouth. I love hearing stories of people connecting animals with their food and refusing to eat it anymore.

The dairy and egg industries have much worse practices, and a lot more lax regulations when it comes to the treatment of animals. Joel has linked up some good resources. I can 100% say that I will be vegan for the rest of my life, but if I was ever (hypothetically) forced to choose, I would eat meat before eggs or dairy any day.
