UK Vegan meet up!

#1 Postby vegan_rossco » Sun Jan 27, 2013 5:02 pm

So I thought it would be a nice idea to arrange a gathering for forum members here living in the UK, grab lunch and possibly get a training session together.
So far it's just an idea, I want to see if enough people could come along.
Let me know your ideas,
I was thinking somewhere very vegan friendly like Brighton and possibly this summer or a bit later.
let me know guys and gals! :boxer:

I know london may be a better place but I've found some awesome places online in Brighton for the meet up

That's fair enough mate :) I think I'll try and keep this thread active for a little while longer, clearly just desperate to eat cakes in a vegan bakery haha

Although I didn't get much of a response before there's been quite a few new forum members from the uk joining recently so once we can get some numbers confirmed I'll sort out the meet

In theory sounds good to me too... but coming from Glasgow it's a bit more of a trek. I'd be happy to visit Brighton again though if I'm down in London visiting family. And some day I'll get round to doing my introduction too...

Quite a trek, especially on a budget. Good ol' Megabus. But I should be heading down South to see family at some stage... so if it links up I'll be there.

Ta :) I was quite pleased no one else had nabbed the username already: shows the scarcity of vegans up here in Scotland perhaps. My name's actually Amelia - at some point I'll get round to doing an introduction/uploading an avatar and becoming less of an enigma.
