Re: mrbears training log
well jodie marsh has been vegetarian all her life but her trainer forced her to eat fish/meat or to drink like 5 protein shakes a day instead. then said that the protein shakes contained too much water which was making her look fat.. he also had her eating 6 fairly big meals a day to the point she was up at 3 am because she couldn't finish all the food, had her in the gym for 6 hours training pointless isolation shit not a single deadlift but lots of curls and lateral raises plus he was under the impression she could put on muscle and burn fat at the same time quite easily. There's a lot more I could go on about but I'm starting to get pissed off hahaha

http://www.jodiemarshtv.com/ it's not necessarily her I have a problem with, just her trainer in her first bodybuilding documentary

mike mentzer was a bodybuilder in the 80's and 90's and came up with his own training method. high intensity and low volume.......with an emphasis on recovery time. look up some of his stuff on utube or google its interesting! ive done it in the past and found it really good.
hope u guys have got better weather than me!

Re: mrbears training log
Nice that you're back to lifting. Recovery time is pinnacle in any sport, the body requires time to adapt.
Live cautiously to make it safely to death
Re: mrbears training log
it certainly is, i always end up overtraining but making a big effort to take alot of rest now and see how i go! thanks for stopping by cellar yeti
