Exams have kept me from the gym lately. I'm heading back tomorrow to get back on the intense cycle of the Smolov squat cycle and a couple of heavy doubles on the bar for deadlift. Been eating terribly lately.

There was supposed to be another 300x5, but I was done. Terrible eating habits and missing a week at the gym killed me. Probably didn't help that I pulled a heavy double before.

Bench
I wanted to dedicate a bit of a session to fixing my bench form, and adapting a better set up for a meet. Asparagus got me on to a video not too long ago and I set up the same way as instructed. Bigger arch, feet farther back and keeping my elbows in.

Didn't want to throw anything too heavy, just wanted to get the form and set up solid before pushing myself. I found the range of motion to be well shorter than normal. powering up towards my head rather than away from myself. It felt good and I'm excited to get back on the bench and go for some heavier low rep sets.

Thanks MF. So much volume, but gaining 20 pounds in 4 weeks is keeping me on it to see what I can gain in 8 weeks.
Weekend wasn't too bad, in the middle of exams right now, so I'm balancing the gym and studying with trying to eat clean haha.

485x1, 485x1. Reset my form for a bit and took a 2 minute rest and pulled the second single.
Big PR for me, and I can't wait to hit 500 in a couple of weeks.

Blood sugar went way too low for me to feel comfortable so I ended up heading home to grab some food. Diabetes sucks sometimes but I will back tomorrow for hitting the bench again, and my squats for the day.
215 felt good on the bar, heavy enough to get me pushing myself, but I could get 6 on each set. The triple was only because there were no spotters available.
