Any reason not to mix Vega w/ soy milk?

Hi all,

I'm new to this site. I discovered Vega by browsing the topics in the forum and have been drinking it for the past week or so after my workouts. The directions suggest mixing it with water, but it tastes so good mixed with soy milk. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this? Does water help it absorb better? Any issues with mixing proteins (soy/hemp)?

Thanks,

SAW

Hello SAW, welcome!

You should introduce yourself in the introductions section.

I don't think there is any problem mixing Vega with a soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, or anything else. Vega is soy-free by design, but it is OK to mix it with soy.

I usually mix Vega with juice and berries or other fruit.

Brendan eats Vega dry and dips bananas in the powder. I've even seen him dip oranges in chocolate Vega powder because he didn't have any bananas with him. He mixes it into cereal as well, and uses it as a drink like most people, but I think most of the time he uses bananas or pears to dip in the powder.
