and eat a glorious 1/3 cup of oats!!!

Love it! When one gets so excited about eating 1/3 cup of oats, then you know you have made it as a true BBer!

Let me see. I have splurge the day ahead of contest, and came in all flat (was not happy with myself!). And I have come in so dry but lethargic, and ate a quart of strawberries after prejudging, and was quite SWOL for the night show (and won overall!). I still do not have it down to an exact method, and am just now trying to get the bodyfat down low . . . like you obviously have done very well! I can't wait to see you carb load, salt load, and then dry out for the contest!

Little water retention? Did you eat something with sodium something in it? Extend perhaps?

How do you look? the scale is just for you to remind you to take notice. Not to freak out perhaps. How is your posing look? Does it look flat? or have you just SWOLE up to size (cells filled with water, but not spilling over into your blood stream/outside the muscle tissue). You still have plenty of time before this weekend to fine tune things. Maybe keep your trainer informed, and another person who can be unbiased look at your body. Remember your brain is not functioning at even 80% right now. Ask for help.

of course thats a good thing but i think thats tooo good to be true. 113.2 today. sodium is not a factor as i eat it in excess every day except the day before a show. xtend hasnt changed, about 4 servings daily except for peak week. same with diet soda. trainer assured me again it wont hurt me ("youre filling out"), and its actually made me feel like i can get thru. work has been crazy and im so thankful for the extra food. some of the days on my lunch break ive been sneaking away to get my 15 HIIT in and thats a relief bc when i get to gym by 8pm its just the weights. the food is little rough on my stomach but oh well. and sunday i am back to my original carbs, so i feel like that will make me drop weight like crazy and make the belly swelling go down. and then i get to water and salt load and deplete. no more soda either that day. im feeling ok. in the mirror at the gym my arms and shoulders look insane. my belly isnt caving in as much which i prefer lol, its a little bloated, but i have to trust that that will disappear. also feel like my face doesnt look as emaciated...which i took comfort in in a sick way...yesterday was my last leg workout. did 30 sets with little rest but there was no way in hell i was doing any squatting. just started out with walking lunges then machines and duck squtas...

113.0

carbs got me thru this week. work was long and chaotic so im thankful. today is the last day of extra carbs, last day "lifting". start light weight upperbody only circuits tomorrow. water and salt loading and depletion starting monday, uva ursi monday and senna laxative tea weds. skin prep starts today too. taking my hair lighter and shorter.
yesterday was last back day. was able to do 4 sets 6 wide grip pull ups and still kill the HIIT.

111.8. water manipulation coming along nicely. feel like a zombie...last day of worktoday and last training...ugh...

apparently last time coach forgot to include dandelion root tea in my water depletion process. so i had to brew it at home and it tastes like dirty socks. drinking 4 cups today and tomorrow ugh. if there was anything in my stomach i might vomit.
