Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness Highlights Over the Past Decade

To bring some of you up to speed, here is a brief recap of some of our highlights over the past decade:

In 2002 I started a Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness clothing line with a few t-shirts. Today we offer more than 20 clothing items from t-shirts to gym bags to headbands and more. You can view most of them here: http://www.veganproteins.com/product-category/vegan-bodybuilding-fitness/

In 2005 we produced a documentary titled, Vegan Fitness Built Naturally, starring Robert Cheeke, Brendan Brazier and Tonya Kay. We moved a few thousand copies, but most importantly, became friends and have worked hard to promote the vegan fitness lifestyle ever since. You can learn more about the DVD here: http://store.veganessentials.com/vegan-fitness--built-naturally-dvd-p1761.aspx

In 2006, 2007 and 2008 we hosted an event called Vegan Vacation. It was a gathering of our website members in Portland, OR during the summer for a week of hanging out in person, fitness, fun, food, education and adventure. We had attendees from five countries attend and we developed strong friendships which still last half a decade later. Perhaps if we get enough interest, we’ll offer this event again in the future. In 2010 I released the book, Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness – The Complete Guide to Building Your Body on a Plant-Based Diet. Thanks to your support, the book quickly became a best-seller and has continued to do well, helping thousands of people build their bodies on a plant-based diet. You can learn more about the book here: http://www.veganbodybuildingbook.com – And the direct link to Amazon is here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0984391606/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=veganbodybuil-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0984391606

Also in 2010, my friends Giacomo Marchese and Dani Taylor who met at our 2008 Vegan Vacation and are now engaged, founded the online sports nutrition store, Vegan Proteins – http://www.veganproteins.com. Today, Vegan Proteins is the primary retailer for the Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness clothing line and they are the only store to carry signed copies of my book. They sell nearly 100 all vegan nutrition and fitness related products. They offer up exclusive sales for our website members on a regular basis and give away free gifts with every single purchase. Please consider supporting them at http://www.veganproteins.com.

In 2012 numerous members of http://www.veganbodybuilding.com were featured in the first issue of Vegan Health & Fitness Magazine. The magazine is in its second year and is stronger than ever, available in stores such as Barnes and Noble, Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, and many other retailers. Read more about the magazine on http://www.veganhealthandfitnessmag.com.

In 2103, Giacomo Marchese from Vegan Proteins founded a group of vegan athletes as a non-profit organization called PlantBuilt. More than 20 vegan athletes will be competing in bodybuilding, fitness, modeling, arm wrestling and more at the Naturally Fit Super Show in Austin, TX on July 26-27, 2013. To learn more, including information about supporting PlantBuilt and attending the 2-day fitness festival, please visit http://www.plantbuilt.com.

Also in 2013, I am working away on a new book and Vegan Proteins is touring all over the U.S. exhibiting at vegetarian festivals year round, nationwide.

Thank you so much for your support over the past decade!
