Haha you got no chance!

I told a lady at work today I was a Kiwi, she thought that meant I was an Aussie. She didnt click even after I told her that means New Zealander. RAGE!

Do you two have to tie yourselves to the ground when you sleep so you don't fall off the planet since you're upside down and all? Zing!

Guys, just for the record, I made that mistake because I was watching a bunch of DurianRider`s videos. Since he talks about Australia a lot, it got stuck in my head =)
It was an honest mistake =)

This was what I ate before I trained yesterday evening ~ coconut rice, shredded soy 'chicken', cucumber and cashew nuts. Pretty tasty :wink:

Thanks for everyone's comments on my health btw, I feel I should probably listen to the doctors this time (for once). If it was anything other than my heart I wouldn't be so concerned.

I never mentioned it up until now, but today June 10th marks the one month anniversary that I lost one of my friends, Kevin Yee. Kevin was like me, in his late 30's and very fit ~ also a Personal Trainer (usually the first one training in the gym on his own at 6am).

He died from a heart attack in his sleep and left behind two young kids, he had less symptoms than I do now so it's been somewhat been playing on my mind since his passing.

Yesterdays nutrition was good, especially enjoyed my dinner last night...

Ramen noodles, bok choi, spinach, beansprouts, tofu and spicy mushroom balls in a curry sauce.

@MF I
did some interval running today out on the street with 8 Splits of 1 minute Run and 1:30 minute slow walk . It was very slow nothing intense but by my 3rd or 4th running split my calves really felt a strong burn .
Is this okay as i am running after ages and have never really been a running person or could be it a running form problem ?

Well the end of the week came right and I got quite a bit done with work. Tried a new dish from my local vegan restaurant last night, black peppered steak (I think they use mushroom and soy) and that was delicious. The wife made some beautiful spicy pumpkin soup so I cooked up some potato, yams, kumara and carrots to go with it. What a great couple of feeds (see photos attached).

It's probably just down to conditioning ~ being new to the running and trying to adapt to the change of training stimulus.

Doesn't sound like a problem per se, it should ease off and go away as your running fitness increases. I'd probably up your walk/recovery time to 2mins though, that will probably help a little. Let me know how you go :wink:

Hey stranger :)
I'm only on my iPod atm, so I haven't looked back to completely catch up. You keeping well? I saw one post on this last page about your health, what's been going on? Sorry for being such an awful blog-friend lately. I'll try to do better :)
