What to eat!

So,

 

I have friends who all have gone vegetarian or vegan and I think I want to shift towards this lifestyle however I have no clue on how to start! I am a meat eater!!! So this will have to be a slow progress...What sources are used a protein in your diets?

All plants have protein, so I guess it depends on how much protein you intend on consuming. The ones that provide higher amounts tend to be legumes,nuts, and seeds.. You probably don't want to eat only those, but rather mix it up with other vegetables, grains, fruit to get a broad intake of vitamins and nutrients. There's plenty of daily logs by members on the forum that list what they eat (although I don't know if you have the same goals; bodybuilding,etc..).. but check the forum, and you'll probably find a lot of ideas for what to eat.
