Schrader
A huge hello to veganbodybuilding.com! I'm Dylan, a 24 year old male from England. I've been training inconsistently for roughly 9 years and have recently, during one of my inconsistent periods, stacked on the weight (in the worst way)! Since getting swole (in all the wrong places) I've felt sluggish, unwell, and all around terrible. I have a keen interest in everything natural, and I strongly dislike poisoning my vessel with all these sugars, hormones and processed foods - I just haven't done anything about it. I find it too easy to conform to modern society's ideal of a healthy/balanced diet. #1. It's so convenient to make unhealthy food choices.#2. Once you get started with the unhealthy food, it tastes so good! (I'm hoping living a vegan lifestyle is the same, reversed; once you get started with healthy food, it tastes so good!) There I am ^ making excuses for myself again. WELL, I'm ready to stop battling myself, and I'm ready to be the healthy person I want to be. I've got a week to mentally prepare before I fly home, and once I arrive I will be committing to a no meat, no dairy, nothing processed, nothing artificial, all natural fruit, veg, and grain way of life. I trust my body will thank me ..(perhaps after a painful detox, that is). I'm here for research, encouragement, like-mindedness, and motivation. Clearly a complete newb in the vegan ways, I'm completely open to any help/info you feel life sharing! Cheers and see you around
C.O.
A big welcome from one Dylan to another! Sounds like you're way past due to switch from inconsistency to consistency. Glad you found us. Maybe keep a training journal with us in that section of the forum. -Dylan

Schrader
Hi vegan_rossco, thanks! I'm currently based in the East Midlands but originally from London. How's life on the Isle of Wight? Do you travel to the mainland often, or is everything you need right there?
vegan_rossco
Oh cool! Yeah it's great here, I don't often leave as I work here but I recently traveled up to Birmingham for a work conference and occasionally go and see bands in Portsmouth/Southampton.Anyways I hope you get all the support and help you need on the forum and good luck with everything!
