WHY WOULD YOU PUT FISH AND EGGS IN WINE? IT'S MADE FROM GRAPES OR IN PRISON KOOL AID, YEAST AND BROKEN DREAMS.

No eggs I don't think, in beer it's normally fish guts which are used in the filtration process, very rare though. Only a handful of beers use this system.
Also with wine I think silk is used sometimes. I used to work in a supermarket on the alcohol aisle and would often read the labels out of curiosity.

I thought that some wines used fish eggs to help preserve it? Will have to have a look at that, I could well be wrong. Cheers for the info Ross MF.

Isinglass is the main culprit for beers and wines. It's a fining agent made from the swim bladder of a fish that helps clear the liquid.

So I just found a delicious NY beer called Kuka banana nut brown ale. AND get this, its brewed with maca. Crazy right?

Had a Flying Dog mint chocolate stout. It was like a desert, a really good one. I think its limited so try it if you get the chance.
