Topic Watching???

#1 Postby godesslissa » Fri May 13, 2005 11:34 pm

I know when I "topic watch" on other message boards I get an email whenever a new message has been posted to the thread I'm interested in. I've tried to do the same thing here, but I don't get any sort of notification- Is that option working for everyone else?

I know what you mean but I dont do it through EMail, I just hunt at the message boards because some other good posts might come up. Also there are those icons that tell you if a thread has a new post, same on this site. The email one just fills my mail box, and I like this way better.

Lissa, when you post to a thread you can check the box that says "Notify me when a reply is posted". I think that is what you are looking for. I don't think there is a way to do it though without posting to the thread.

Lissa,

Yup I know what you are talking about and yes I always get an email notification when a new post has been posted to a thread to which I previously posted. I think it is because when you are registering or whatever then you have to check the box that says "notify me...etc." as was stated above by Michael.
