People seem to either really like it or really dislike it. I really enjoyed The Matrix, but the sequals seemed more and more ridiculous and fueled by its own hype, the story and development of characters dried up I feel. The first film was kind of about discovery and realization and dealing with this huge development about the world. In my opinion, parts 2 and 3 didn't really go anywhere, I dunno what they were trying to achieve.
CollegeB
Richard I agree with you about the matrix and its sequals. They really were bad, i dont think i even bothered to see the 3rd one.

FormicaLinoleum
. . . and buffalo 66. girlie films jonathanBuffalo 66 is a girle film? Isn't that the one directed by Vincent Gallo? I haven't seen it, but from what I know of it, I wouldn't think of it as a chick flick.

Funny, when I got up this morning (Ok, afternoon) Topher was watching The Goonies in the living room... I promised to take him to Astoria one of these days since that's where it was filmed, and we're BIG Goonies fans around here!
