Hi! I'm new to the forums. My name is Laura and I'm from NJ.

 

I've been a vegetarian since I was 12 and am trying to make that last jump to becoming vegan, and also to better my diet/fitness routine and get in better shape.

 

I'm a big animal lover and try my best to help homeless pets. I love nature and being outside (but not the humidity!)

I had a huge crush on a girl named Laura one time. She was from Canada and we used to play a lot of table tennis and sailed around on a cruise ship.

 

We're glad you found our group, and awesome work with homeless animals.

Thanks for the welcomes! To answer a question above:

 

I'm 22, and my fitness goals right now are to lose the few pounds I've gained in college....I'm finding it hard to lose weight though since I'm not actually overweight! (I made a post about it in the Women's Fitness section) and also to become stronger and increase my endurance.

Welcome Laura

 

Simply going vegan...assuming you avoid the really really bad stuff should make you lose weight without any extra effort thanks to ridding your body of dairy.
