I think you'll find that you'll get the bench back up pretty quick but the legs may lag behind a little...but remember you're power to weight ration will be much better than before.

I didn't think my squatting would suffer so much. I actually thought it might improve.

I'm squatting less bodyweight now AND less weight on the bar.

But I realize my body is going through a major change.

I'll just wait til it's done fixing itself then punish it with more weights.

I think you'll find your max is down but what you can probably do more weight for 10 reps than you could before...even with the drop in max. Its weird how things work...eventually you can take advantage of that and maybe your old max will soon be something you can rep out. One thing you'll gain is range of motion as well which will make it easier to get lower in the squat but you'll also lose a bit of natural support in the hips.
