  1. Dude, I have had two venus flytraps in my lifetime and i've never fed them (I never knew). Of course they didn't live very long at all considering there was no flies in my house.
  2. You do catch more flies with honey. But it is insulting (I believe to vegans/vegetarians) and at the same time confusing to average Americans if people call themselves vegetarians but still eat fish. Fish is meat. Like when you tell people your vegetarian/vegan and they say "so you eat fish right?"
  3. Ahh yes I remember not to buy juices with vitamin D added because it is apparently a derivative from milk.
  4. On the same subject. My brother trains for football at a local gym. He does strength training. When they bench, they use what they call boards which are really just pieces of 2x4. They put them on there chest and train like that. Obviously you can do more weight with say 5 boards than none. They gradually worked each weight to zero boards. An interesting idea. My system has springs that you can raise or lower. I don't have a freeweight persay. The bar is on like a track.
  5. Maybe i'm not getting the whole hotub thing (I have a pool). But how do you rupture an eardrum just by having the chemicals wrong? What is a ruptured eardrum anyway? Is the drum broken?
  6. Broccoli rocks! I've also heard that you should eat broccoli with orange Juice? Helps the absorbtion of something. Iron maybe?
  7. "Essential Cholesterol" I think you have confused with "good" cholesterol, which I don't understand either. The whole ldl hdl thing is weird, I know a little about out the good and bad cholesterol cause my dad had a problem with cholesterol. As I think it is, our body makes enough cholesterol we will ever need, you don't ever need anymore. That's how I think it is don't take my word for i though.
  8. Dang, that sucks about loosing some nutrients but I guess you'll be okay if you combine cooked and raw food. What about the microwave, i've heard that you loose nutrients but I'm not sure how much. Anyone know about that?
