  1. The separation line in the middle is a result of both low bf% and essentially large muscle mass. Bench press is a good compound movement but from what I know you should mix it up a little bit. If you're not gaining weight maybe you are not getting enough calories. Would be curious to see other replies though.
  2. Not been a Vegan long, but always been into lifting/nutrition. As a 17 year old I have a super fast metabolism so aim for 3000+ kcal. I just want someone who knows that they're on about to critique this, to see if im missing anything. Worried about Iron uptake. Meal 1: 5 bananas Meal 2: 6 Weetabix cereals w/ 500ml almond milk Vegan protein shake 60g Meal 3: approx 200-300 cals fruit Salad leaves w/ carrots, cucumber, pepper, celery Meal 4: Vegan protein shake 60g 5 bananas Meal 5: 2 sweet potatoes w/ a little spinach Snacks: 50g Almonds Am i getting enough iron? Too little or too much of anything? Appreciate the support from this community! Thanks
  3. Need some recipes for sauces please! Or if there are any that can be purchased online in the UK let me know please!
  4. 17 year old here struggling to keep up with his metabolism. What are some high calorie meals? Not been Veggie for a long time so not really experimented that much. I'd like to start encorporating beans/lentils etc. Help? Thanks
  5. Also, how is it that overfat people have faster metabolisms? Surely that would help them lose weight?
  6. I had my basal-metabaloc rate tested 12 months ago and it was 1900. Im 5 foot 10 inches and 140lbs. Is it still true then that the more muscle mass you have the higher the metabolism? How would you get 2000 calories in one meal? Would you eat all of them? Thanks
  7. Well I know they matter in order to survive; but do they matter much in terms of gaining weight? I have a little theory I devised in my head that by eating food thats is easily digested, less energy is used digesting the food, and therefore you dont need as many calories as you would eating meat/cheese/dairy etc. My goals is to put on weight, I just want to know the importance of being in a caloric surplus? I see people eat a lot of greens which have very little calories, and I, as a 17 year old have a super fast metabolism see it as quite challenging to get 3000kcal+ from greens.. (Im not raw btw, just vegan) Thanks
  8. Do calories matter? Would like some science to back up your answers please!
