Re: How can I improve my workout regimen?
I haven't really tried the full body workout approach, but have found working 2 muscle groups a day, 3 days a week to be pretty effective. My routine has usually gone something like this: Day 1: Chest and Triceps Bench Press (DB or BB) Incline Bench (DB or BB) Decline Bench (DB or BB) Dips Skullcrus...

Re: Sage's Training Journal
Thanks Robert, Meeting with Ed was awesome! He really helped me polish my form on squats, deadlifts and cleans. Ed suggested I incorporate more variety of nuts and seeds into my diet. I'll be doing some serious shopping in the bulk aisle come payday. His studio is really coming together and I think ...

Re: Sage's Training Journal
I didn't have money to pay my member dues at the gym, so this week I'm going to be working out from home. The only equipment I have is a makeshift 50lb barbell, a jump rope, the playground across the street and my own imagination. This is what I did today: Jump Rope 5 Minutes Deadlifts: 50x30, 50x50...

Re: Why am I not sore?
When I first started training I was sore after every workout. After the first couple of weeks my body seemed to adapt and start recovering faster. As I have gotten my diet and supplementation on track, soreness has come only with truly exceptional workouts.

Re: New You for the New Year Contest 3
While many may think of veganism as a restrictive diet, when I went vegan my diet become much more diverse. I now get excited about eating fruits and vegetables! There is something very comforting about knowing that everything I am eating is actually good for my health.

Re: Preparing food in bulk
I do something similar. It is essential for me during workdays when I have to pack 3 meals with me and don't always have time to cook them that same day. I usually make a big batch of brown rice or quinoa and a batch of beans or lentils to keep in the fridge. When its time to pack a lunch I work fro...

Re: Eat Clean. Train Mean. Get Lean.
I know I get tired of having to explain to people why I am vegan, so I often suggest to people who question my diet to read a book or watch a movie on veganism. My mom tried to convince me to go vegan for a long time but I never considered it until I read The Optimum Nutrition Bible and The Engine 2...
