Best Vegan Food Blogs

I love to cook and collect cookbooks. We actually gained weight when we first went vegan because of all the new foods and cooking techniques we tried. I don't eat like I did (cutting phase) but I still collect books and also check out a few blogs. It's a bit like food porn for me. Here are some of my favorites. Anyone else?

For her sick sense of humor, as well as her recipes: www.yeahthatveganshit.blogspot.com

Because she's like the Martha Stewart of veganism, but much nicer: www.veganyumyum.com

She's from Philly, enough said: www.urbanvegan.blogspot.com

This one is from Portland: www.letsgetsconed.blogspot.com

Portland restaurant reviews with a slant towards the east side and mostly veggie restaurants: www.stumptownvegans.com

Portland restaurant reviews with a slant towards the west side and many omni reviews (until she moves to the east side soon): www.veganfabulous.com

I actually read more regular food blogs than vegan ones.

http://www.tastespotting.com/ is a site I check out daily, I've had some of my photos there too. I keep my own food blog and taking photos is somewhat of a hobby for me, maybe I should check out more food blogs because of that, but I don't always have time.

http://havecakewilltravel.com/ is maybe one of my favorite vegan food blogs because I like the photos, they are so "clean" in a way and the photographer has a great eye I think.

http://www.flickr.com/ is great for foodporn, I especially like the pictures from Seitti Elina Innanen

I'm Your Man, there are so many websites! It wasn't this way even a few years ago. I like BryannaClarkGrogan and have subscribed to her newsletter a few times. But as good as the websites are, the blogs definitely add another dimension.

For those of you who like seitan, tofu AND raw foods: these two vegan caterers have some seriously gourmet recipes. They've inspired me to get out my stovetop smoker again! What the Hell Does a Vegan Eat Anyway?

My Vegan Cookbook has many low fat recipes and he gives the basic nutritional breakdown for the recipes.

Fueled by Popcorn is another good one and she's from Portland so I had to add this.

A Vegan for Dinner is the site of a wife and mother of two kids. I like how she gives their opinions on recipes. And she's very funny.

The blog for Everyday Dish is nice but definitely check out the link to the cooking show.

Day to Day Vegan is another wife/mother who posts about raising and feeding a vegan family. She doesn't post many recipes but her family is very cute.
