vege
Hey, I grew my own this year, and I adore them. Anybody eating fava beans willing to give some ideas how to cook them?At the moment, I just boil them 3 minutes, fry them 30 sec in olive oil with garlic, then peal them and eat them with hands. The process remindes me of eating shrimps http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2550/boba.jpg
vegimator
I love them! I had this great stew recently that my girlfriend made with fresh favas from a farmer's market. Here's the recipe.http://www.theppk.com/2011/04/lemon-garlic-fava-beans-mushrooms/ You can also substitute them for chickpeas and make a hummus type dip with them.
