Ravi
really simple recipe 1. buy a sweet potatoe2. wash it3. bake it in foil for 40 minutes or so on 400 degrees4. put some salt and pepper on it and enjoy! sometimes I put some almond butter or olive oil on them...but not always. I forgot how good these things are! a great substitue for rice/pasta or any other gluten-rich stuff. Good to give your body a break from all the gluten every now and then. Trev
Sweet potatoes are delicious. Also try cutting them up in strips and baking them on a cookie sheet with olive oil -- sweet potato fries! Season as desired (I like'em just how they are).
Daywalker
Hi Ravi I thought you were raw? Anyway, rice is gluten-free! One of the reasons brown rice isone of my staples But potatoes are great, too! Just remember to eat the skin
Kathryn
How about peeling and slicing sweet potatoes, then baking in some apple juice? The apple juice thickens as it bakes, adds sweetness, and you end up with something akin to candied yams, but with no added sugar. (start with just enough apple juice to cover, and add more as needed).
Guest
That's a lot of electricity wasted for 1 sweet potato....maybe you should add a garlic clove to the oven
