Hello Everyone

Hi everyone,

 

I am new to this forum so I thought I should quickly introduce myself.

 

My name is Sandy and I am from India. I was recently diagnosed with pre-diabetes and my doctor advised me to lose weight and get more physically active. I started going for morning walks and I have lost around 2 kg of weight. Now I am also planning to start some weight training so that I can shed off some fat and builds some muscles.

 

I am not a vegan but I am a vegetarian. I think the concept of this forum (vegan) is very different and interesting that's why I joined it.

I would love to make some friends here and know more about body-building, health and fitness.

Hi Sandy! Glad to hear you're making positive changes. Switching to a plant-based whole foods diet can reverse your pre-diabetes condition, and I'd say even so if you remain vegetarian and not go all in vegan.

 

You'll probably already know, drop all processed foods. White rice, breads, etc. though in your diet that may already be the case.
