robert Posted May 8, 2005 Share Posted May 8, 2005 Hey, thanks. Sorry for the late reply. I don't do a whole lot of cardio. In fact, I do close to no cardio at all. But when I do cardio I like to play basketball, run up hills, play soccer, or some for of athletic game. I don't like to use machines in gym, but if I do, I use a stationary bike. I used to use a stairclimber a lot and that wasn't too bad, but I really prefer to exercise outside and play sports with my friends. In preparation for my last contest I didn't do any cardio until the final week before and then I went running for a few days and that was it. I do a lot of jumping jacks as I warm up before training and push-ups and sit-ups before and after training too. I'll try to post my pre-contest workout schedule soon. Have a great weekend. Over40 Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Rob, Your take on cardio isn't to unusual. Back in the 50's, 60's etc. Cardio was unheard of for bodybuilders.
