Eating so many meals might be working against you. One technique for increasing metabolism and losing weight is to eat more frequent meals (the thermic affect of food causes your metabolism to go up some with each meal).

 

Instead, take a cue from Sumo wrestlers who want to put on weight. Eat 2-3 bigger meals a day, take a nap after meals.

 

YOu can also fiind some info at www.hardgainer.com (yes, there is a site dedicated to hardgainers!) or by reading books by Stuart McRobert, who specializes in advice for hardgainers.

 

One thing that's important in training for hardgainers is not to overtrain. Train those muscle hard when you do, but each muscle group only once per week, to allow for sufficient recovery.

For me it took eating 3 huge meals every day...and snacking inbetween to make sure my stomach couldn't fit anything else in it.
