Adding raisins to protein shake.

Do any of you add raisins to your protein shake?

Adding 100g of raisins will give me around 300 calories, which will make bulking up and adding calories easier. However, they have a ton of sugar (about 59g in 100g of raisins). Would this be beneficial to consume after a workout?

I know people add dates to their shakes, but they are generally more expensive and are not as easy to blend in a standard blender.

I have tried this one time but it did not turn out too well. Maybe the blunder I have was very good but the raisins did Nokia blended all the way.
