Nathan Nearing
A nice granola recipe that I use whenever I can. Simple, filling, and makes enough for a few days. 2 cups rolled oats1 cup raw almonds¼ cup sesame seeds½ cup unsweetened coconut¼ cup wheat germ¼ coconut oil¼ + 1/8 cup agave nectar ½ raisins (optional)½ dried fruit (optional) Preheat oven to 300°. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly, heat 1/4 coconut oil until clear (I just put it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds) and add to the mixture. Use the same 1/4 measuring cup (if you used one) and use it for the agave nectar (fill it one then fill it half way). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and evenly spread the mixture onto the pan. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every ten minutes. When it's done transfer it to a container immediately and cool in the fridge. Alternatively let it cool 20-30 minutes on the pan then break it up and transfer it to the fridge.
