These pics are from November the 8th 2008. As you can see there is a lot of work to do. My biggest problem is gaining weight...or more precise muscle mass. At the time of the pictures I stand at 74,6kg and body fat of 8%. That will be all for now...I will write some more in the introduction section...

Since this section doesn't have any posts I'll start it off. This is about a 9-year period, so pretty long but still shows significant gains from high school just turning vegan to age 25, 60 pounds heavier: http://a474.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/3/l_b743f4b97c7ade697b7cdbc9f2b21219.jpg Age 20 ........................ Hello all, I have been looking through all the before and after shots of everyone on the site and have been inspired to post my story\pics. Late 2008, I was at my heaviest, 5'6, 288lbs. http://i35.tinypic.com/72yv7k.jpg http://i34.tinypic.com/20nuqd.jpg I told myself, "wow at almost 300 pounds, I have to make a change". Early '09, I purchased the Abs Diet book and really started to study it. I learned the basic's of nutrition, why fad diet's do not work, and how to work out safe and smart. Little by little, I started to change my eating habits to incorporate what I've learned from the book. I wasn't working out as much as I wante…

Hi folks! This is my first post, please let me know if you find it interesting! Been trying the vegan diet for about 3 months now and i find that the pros is bigger then the cons. before to the left after to the right. Training was limited to 2 times a week, and each exercise ONLY performed ONE set each. (inspired by tim ferriss experiment (which in turn was inspired by arthur jones "colorado experiment)) 1 set leg press 1 set dips 1 set pullups 1 set rows The tempo on each rep was 5 seconds up and 5 seconds down.. (pure hell on the leg press =) lol ) no stretching was performed and no additional training of any kind was performed this was done…

If Megan Fox can have killer abs, why can't I!? Therefore, I have begun what I have dubbed Operation 6-pack. Here are my first set of progress pics - 2 weeks full vegan (3 years vegetarian before), 1 week straight daily calisthenics. It's a work in progress still, obviously, but I can totally feel a difference already! 1 week progress photo (march 1, 2012) starting point - way more fluffy (feb 23, 2012)

Two years ago this month I started to exercise after many years of not and started my training log on line, first at veganfitness, then at veganbodybuilding a little while later. I took some (poor) pics a few days ago (age 50, 194 lbs) to compare with the ones from before starting (48 yo, over 220 lbs ). http://i39.tinypic.com/sqjw4i.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/205y5cm.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/2n9ev12.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/qq7ndc.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/mt9etw.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/2knf9x.jpg

I wanted to see my abs logn time ago, since i havent seen them since I was a meat eater, I had them 3 years ago but I was constantly hungry. I am mostly a runner right now, not a body builder, but I do vinyasa yoga and pick up some weights at least once a week. I track my calories with cronometer.com and I follow 811, low fat raw vegan diet plan. I cant eat enough of greens to get my protein so I use some days protein raw vegan powder, its not optimal, but I get bored of greens or juicing. I have 1 head a day of romaine, 2 heads its too much for me daily. I eat other veggies though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w21r0T8MjJQ im 168 cm and about 144 pounds ri…

Figured I should start one of these 'cuz why the hell not? So this is me 5 years ago, just starting out. Should be 60-64 kg of bw (132 lbs - 141 lbs) http://imageshack.us/a/img25/2306/diverse044.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img27/1042/dscf5789su3.jpg Early 2011. The bulk is strong in this one. Maybe around 82 kg (180 lbs). Reached 87 kg (191 lbs) later that year. http://i34.servimg.com/u/f34/15/14/40/78/divers15.jpg 2012 I decided that I still sucked, started to diet down and then built some actual muscle. This could be at 78-82 kg (171-180 lbs) http://i34.servimg.com/u/f34/15/14/40/78/2008-211.jpg These were made earlier this year. About the same weight. http://i78.s…

Some quick and dodgy webcam photos taken yesterday as my most recent progress. Really need to get a new camera so i can actually stand up and not have to click a damn mouse button to take a seated photo haha http://s721.photobucket.com/albums/ww214/fenrir9/Progress%20December%202008/ http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww214/fenrir9/Progress%20December%202008/phil-progress-december7.jpg My goals at this stage are to build 1RM strength in the compound exercises such as Bench, Squat, Dips and Military Press, and to drop another 4% bodyfat or so.

I didn't really realize the intensity I would have in working out, so I didn't really bother with too many pictures in the beginning. But here are the few before/after pictures I have. 2 months before I started working out: http://img399.imageshack.us/img399/3788/meskinnytg1.jpg 3 months after I started working out: http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/9079/menovemberil2.jpg Me at about 9 months into working out: http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/7599/n1529070348300937647744qw8.jpghttp://img186.imageshack.us/img186/2825/backqc2.jpg Me Now(approx 2 years in): http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/5333/abof4.jpghttp://img301.imageshack.us/img301/3760/frontmo3.jpg http://img502.…

Hey guys, I'm just getting over a back injury and my physiotherapist sais that deadlifting will help a lot. This isn't the only exercise I'm doing, as I'm looking to get lean and fit all around, but I want to make sure that my form on the deadlift is perfect before I up the weights so I don't risk injury again. If you guys could take a look at a few of these videos and let me know what I could improve on, or whether I look like I'm risking injury in any way, let me know. I'd really appreciate your feedback! P.S you might have to skip ahead in a few of the videos, I'm a shitty camera guy Also, any tips for a beginner? I've already got the nutrition down, I've been eatin…

I'm hitting the weights again, and looking to trim about 5# of fat from the lower half. Very much a pear shape here. I might have nice leg muscles, under all the padding! I really don't do a lot of training, maybe 15 minutes 3 times a week, and it's giving me great results. I've had this much muscle before, so it's muscle memory to some degree. I'm watching overall calories and trying to ramp up to more cardio. I'm working towards a June 26 goal date, for losing 5 pounds of fat. Current stats are 136#, 21.5%. http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg172/kjtten/4-19_a.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg172/kjtten/4-19_d.jpg http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g…

I thought very long putting my pictures here for everyone to see. I'm shy and afraid of what people think about my skin. I have NF1 and it causes nasty looking but usually harmless spots and tumours to my skin and nerves. I feel uncomfortable when I have to be in revealing clothes if someone I don't know well sees me. I have more courage nowadays than few years ago, thanks to Love of my life. So I decided to be brave and put my pictures here and tell my own story. My project started when I managed to loose weight. I dropped my weight from 74kg (163lbs) http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-At5f_D9sA8c/UEY0A7zzzzI/AAAAAAAAA8M/LpYdosmZAc8/s1600/74kg.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/…

No matter what I do I can't gain significant body fat. If I fight my body very hard with an insane 4,000+kcal diet I can push it out of it's normal 9/10% body fat range, but if I back off it drops back down. On the same note it's just as hard for me to drop my body fat below that 9/10% range. Adding 1 day of cardio in seems to alter that by 1% or so, more cardio maybe 2%, but my knees start to suffer. As long as I keep my lifting up, and take a handful of moderate sized walks a week; I stay lean as hell. I just don't understand how slamming my body with thousands of calories does absolutely nothing and all I gain is muscle. I don't really wanna get ripped six pack a…
