But with a variety of dishes, inspired by everything from traditional Mediterranean fare to Middle Eastern and Latin cuisine, you won’t be limited. Take for instance, the el fino, a griddled spinach tortilla filled with grilled pears, pecans, Gorgonzola, grilled onions and a dairy-free o…

I only have one question. What's the process and how long does the process take to become a Canadian citizen? I have my eyes set on Toronto because I visited their for a weekend in 1998 and I liked the city. My blood relatives live on the US east coast, however I'm open to moving to Western Canada. Also, I only speak English. I already have an A.A.S. degree and I should have a B.S. degree by Fall 2009-Spring 2010 academic year.

http://www.tigardtimes.com/features/story.php?story_id=122652505394766300 “Some people call it vegan. We call it plant-based. We’re trying to remove the stigma of veganism,” Rick Asche says of the lifestyle he and his wife Gayle have been following for the last three years. Rick, who has a family history of heart disease, found himself struggling with his health and went from traditional doctors to naturopaths looking for a solution. Gayle says she had ongoing issues with weight gain, upset stomach and arthritis. Rick’s sister told the couple about the Hallelujah Diet, a plant-based and mainly raw diet based on Genesis 1:29. When Rick read an e-mail from Hallelujah Ac…

I know they got a climbing wall in Rockville or we can set up something more fitness based. Talks are good so are walks ... but as winter approaches walks seem to be less exciting. So tell me what you guys want to do?

http://laist.com/2008/10/23/new_vegan_restaurant_opens_in_china.php October 23, 2008 New Vegan Restaurant Opens in Chinatown What do you do when the club you DJ at closes down temporarily? You can either get a new job, do nothing or follow a dream you've always wanted to do--open a restaurant. And that's exactly what Chef Doomie (some may know him as DJ Doomie) did when Roberto's closed down and the owners gave the "ok" to use the kitchen to start a comfort food (yes, not Thai) vegan restaurant in the space. Doomie's Home Cookin' Veggie-Vegan may have opened quietly last Saturday...
