Hi fellows, I plan on founding a vegan strength athlete group in Germany. The idea is: - to get vegan strength athletes together for training, - sharing experiences with training and nutrition, - motivation. - I want to have an awesome cool website with tons of testosteron, muscle and information on it - in German. - Obviously, the website shall serve as the base for information, connection and vegan representation in the German speaking parts of the world for vegans who need info on training and for strength athletes who search for info on performance on a vegan diet. So, who is in? Ideas, suggestions etc. welcome. Who wants to help with the website?

Hey everybody! I have been google searching for vegan gyms or at least gyms geared towards like-minded people around Seattle, WA and have come up short so far. Anyone know of any? I'm getting really tired of the regular commercial gym crowd that are becoming over-roided/aggressive and ignorant in general. Like the fools who purposely drop weight so it clangs super loud and then proceed to puff out their chest like a d#mn monkey. I love lifting and it's a big part of my life but this negative turn in gym culture is getting really old. If anyone knows of even some sort of organized group(s) or alternative gyms I would be very thankful if you dropped a line. Thanks!

Check the Facebook event: Vegans at the Arnold Classic Vegans are barely represented at the Arnold Classic Sports Expo. We had a blast in 2010 and want to encourage vegan athletes and fitness fans of all levels of ability to come to the Arnold in '11. Let's coordinate, plan ahead for next March and get as many vegans as possible to participate, either as spectators, competitors or vendors. It would be great if we could get professional vegan athletes and companies with vegan goods to sign on. Let's make the Arnold an annual meetup for vegans from all aspects of sports and fitness! We are not associated with the official organizers of this largest of multi-sport events in …

Hey guys, I'll be visiting NYC November 16 to December 7. Does anyone have any "must see" vegan hot spots? Also if anyone wants to meet up, let me know because I'll have quite a lot of free time. My sister is over there working so I'm visiting her, but I'll be out exploring during the day.

The Vegetarian Society Of Washington D.C. had their vegan Thanksgiving celebration covered on the local news yesterday. It is a very good piece and it is inspiring to see such good coverage. Wendy Reiger is the local newswoman in the clip. In the last few years she has become interested in animal issues and vegetarianism. She has given the local vegan and AR groups in the D.C. area a lot of support.
