Daily Rant Thread 1 2 3

We need to make one of these once a Day/Week so we can just have a thread to bs about anything in, including random posts. Don't need to be polluting the forum. Daily Chat Thread would be schweeeet. And it needs to be stickied to the top of General Discussion and updated every morning. I'm a genius?

I assume this belongs here. It's entertaining. Anyone here a fan of Nintendo? I've been with them from the very start of child-hood. Ah the days of the NES. Playing Duck Hunt( Kind of Ironic seeing as how I'm against hunting but Duck Hunt is still classic to me. Does that make me a hypocrite? XD) I like all things Nintendo. From the games( Mario, Zelda, Metorid, Kid Icarus, Mega Man, Donkey Kong, Earthbound, Pikmin, Starfox, Ice Climbers, Pokemon, Castlevania and so many others.. To Cartoons( Like the classic Mario, Zelda and Captain N cartoons) To even clothing( I meas just look at my signature) And the number one reason I think I have loved Nintendo so much( Exc…

Does anyone know some good ways to make money quickly? I'm trying to fund a trip to California to compete in a bodybuilding competition in 2 weeks since the one I was scheduled to compete in this Saturday in Oregon got canceled. Topher and I have been returning soda cans and bottles for 5 cents each and have made about $30 doing that, but we're looking for other methods. I don't have too many cool things to sell and I don't want to sell things like my camera. We wear are Vegan Bodybuilding t-shirts everyday to try to get people to buy those, but it's hard to convince non-vegans to but a shirt that says VEGAN across the chest Any tips are much appreciated. -…

http://www.furisdead.com/feat-dogcatfur.asp Vegan forum want to ban me for speaking strongly against people who wear fur coats without any shame. Am I wrong for expressing my anger toward fur lovers? I consider myself lucky if they ban me because there is no way for me to respect people who careless about how innocent defenseless aniamls are tortured to death to make fur coats. I used my username violet13 on forum below. What is your opinion about my messages posted on forum below? http://veganfreaks.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=1441

Hey, sorry for the delay, we have been trying to coordinate the competitions and makes sure that winners can be rewarded. I'll leave this topic up for at least a week, probably a bit longer to give everyone time who wants to compete -The photos must have been taken within the past 4 weeks (basically within 30 days), so only current photos please. -You don't have to show full body, but please allow us to verify that the photo is you, just as in all the contests. -No editing of the photos is allowed, aside from cropping, but no photoshop or enhancements. -It doesn't matter if you are cold or pumped up, but the pumped up photos will get the best results, get the mos…

Hardcore Talk 1 2 3

with inspiration from Ted Trendy, this thread is now here. Talk about your favorite hardcore bands, learn about new hardcore bands, and reminisce about the "good ole days". Best show(s) ever. The 2 times I saw the Gorilla Biscuits reuinion tour (philly and minneapolis). Also, one time in milwaukee something got fucked up at a legion hall show and 3 bands had to share a set. Shared instruments, 2 or 3 songs each, just blasted them out. Embrace Today was one of them, I think Ignite the Will was another. one of the most unexpectedly intense set I've ever witnessed. Super psyched for Bane next month. I go back and forth between youth crew hardcore (round one and roun…

I'm starting a new show called The Robert Cheeke Show. It has been a vision of mine for years and I finally decided to just make it happen. It's going to be small, basic and somewhat primitive at first, but will evolve as I evolve and learn more. I'll have celebrity guests, do funny impressions of famous people, talk about serious subjects, teach people new things and have a lot of fun. I will be posting a new episode every day that I have computer access. I'll take questions and answer them on camera, have guests on the show, have a new topic each day, etc. I will work hard to make it beneficial for an audience while having it entertaining and dynamic as well. The…

I'm totally into giving away shirts now, even though I just spent a lot of money on them.....maybe I'm just more into having contests Either way, I like having this photo contests. The most creative shirt contest ends in 5 days and I'll be shipping out a new shirt to someone. So, what about a Battle of the Biceps contest? I just though of this while looking at DV's avatar I know Zack and others posted biceps-specific avatars too, and tuc is getting large and others are making their arms GROW. We can do other contests too like legs, chest, etc. but I thought we'd start with arms. We all have our strengths and weaknesses so this won't be a total physique contest…

So, LizWorld and I are totally getting into YouTube and we're really enjoying making videos! We're going to start a daily Vegan Video Blog. For those interested, please check it out! It promises to make you laugh, may inspire you, and could even make you want to vomit. It is totally late now, but we'll add a bunch of videos from Wednesday up here soon. Enjoy! Here is the series of videos from tonight after a somewhat stressful day consisting of an intense leg workout and a missed flight. I was listening to the radio today and heard something from a jewelry company I think saying, "nothing defines a person more than the watch they wear" I thought that was kinda weird and I was thinking to myself, what material things best define a person? Their car? Their shoes? Their Jewelry? Their House? Or do material things not play a role in defining someone? It is really more their ethics, morals, values, beliefs, or all they all combined with material things too? Just something I was thinking about because I know we do judge people based on the types of material things they own. For example, you'd probably react differently to someone you see wearing…

My sister, age 39, was taken via Ambulance to the hospital last evening for a CVA. She is in intensive care, they are able to get her blood pressure down, but so far can not stop the bleeding in her brain. She is currently in a drug induced coma. Prognosis is not good. Please send a prayer her way.

1. What were you born into? 2. What are you now? 3. What made you change? (if you did) 4. What are your ideas on religions in general? Lets try and not debate here, just speak your mind. If you have a question, feel free to ask. No, "My religion (or lack thereof) is right, yours is wrong" deal. You personally know that your faith is right therefore don't try and change others, because they are in the same position as you. Heres my stuff: 1. I was born into a Trinitarian Christian home. I say Trinitarian because there are Unitarian Christians that do not believe that Jesus is God and the Trinity ideas. 2. I am a Muslim. I don't belong to any sects such as…

So, this poll is just an example to get you thinking. How about that restaurant bread? I know enough vegans that I could find at least one to answer yes to every question. How about you? Personally, I'm somewhere between "ask the wait staff" and "bread is typically vegan, so I don't worry about it." I'm not saying that is the right answer any means, just being honest here. For example, my kids wanted to go to Red Robin this week. It's a burger chain that offers veggie burgers too, they had been with there before with their vegetarian mom. They were really excited to find Boca Burgers on the menu, and that Daddy was going to have a burger too. I really didn't w…

So I can't help but wonder about others opinions on locking threads. I get a sense that many are in favor it... but I'm not really. Unless it gets REALLY offensive where everyone is calling eachother names and I've only seen that happen in 1 thread, but yet I've watched like 5 get locked over the past few months. The way I see it is that if we don't have differences of opinion, we don't learn from eachother. One of the threads awhile back was a debate about eating honey from farms that use very humane bee keeping practices. Ande Suna kind of opened my eyes to her viewpoint... and although I still don't eat honey, I got a better understanding of why some Raw Fo…

There are 5 bedrooms in our rental house that can hold up to 24 people. Plenty of other rooms and places to sleep are all throughout the house but there are only 5 actual bedrooms. I had a thought that the bedrooms would go to the main organizers who are putting in a lot of extra work to make this event happen. I thought a nice reward for those people would be to give them their own room (some will be sharing with another person or family as well). Does this seem fair? The other option is to charge more for those who will have a bedroom. As of right now (really sorry if I missed anyone) the MAIN organizers are: robert Michelle xdarthveganx loveliberate Others…
