cramp that wont go away

I can't remember the details, but I know that a lock of some electrolytes and vitamins contribute to cramping. The same lack also contributes to bruising more easily.


Try googling on "nutrition and muscle cramps" and variations of that string to identify the nutrition you may be lacking.


Alternatively you can read veganhealth.org as a checklist to see what you aren't eating. My guess is that if you start drinking at least 2 qts of water a day, eating omega 3s, healthy fats, and as many vegetables as you can stand that you will probably nail this down.

Sounds to me like you might have torn a tendon. That can also cause pain and bruising. I could be wrong though. I'm not a doctor, but maybe you should go see one? It's been a couple days and if it's not getting better yet..


Does it feel like a charlie horse or is like pain shooting up throughout the muscle?
