clean&press 90x15, 100x9

ez curl 60x15, 70x15

HS bench 55sx9,7

assisted pull ups 70x12, 55x6

HS crunch 105x12,11

Been trying to keep rest time between sets to between 2 and 3 minutes

elliptical trainer 15 min, 5 mph, 148 target HR, 3 min cool down to 132

leg stretches

20 min elliptical "2 miles" hr 150+ sometimes

HS crunch 110x20, 115x11

treadmill 2 frustrating minutes where it wouldn't give my correct HR and wanted me to climb major elevation huffing and puffing while saying my HR hadn't hit 120

the 2nd treadmill again wouldn't give my hr, so I jogged 1/2 a mile @ 4.5 mph then walked another 1/2 @ 4 mph

It was getting late and my girl was tired, so we called it a night

leg stretches

treadmill 30 mins 2.09 mls, jogged 1 ml @ 4.5, (hr 149) walked .1 @ 3.5, .75 @ 4.5, (hr 150+)5 min cool down to 2 mph/120HR

Both knees seem fine, it was nice to break a sweat.

Happy Easter!

This morning I took a yoga class and feel good, but a little sore. I don't think I injured anything.

It's been 2 years since I started to exercise, so I posted some pics in the before and after area.

HS crunch 105x23,17,11

stretches

treadmill: 1 mile 4.7 mph, (160s hr) 1 1/2 mls @ 3.7 mph, (high 140s hr) 5 min cool down 2.7 mls in 42m 21s

 

The crunches and too much potatoes, too close to work out, made the run kind of tuff.

It's been 2 weeks of cardio and crunches only (6x) I've been eating more and gaining weight.

leg stretches

treadmill: 3 miles in 40 minutes then 5 min cool down.

Jogged @ 4.8 mph for 1.5 mls, walked .1 at 3.8 to read pulse (under 160) jogged .75 mile at 4.8 mph then walked .1 at 3.8 (still under 160 hr) another .55 mile at 4.8 mph ( into high 160s HR) 5 min cool down

It sure is easier to run without having first done sets of Hammer Strength crunches to failure! (my usual routine)

2 mile jog @ 5mph (150+ HR), 1/2 mile walk @ 4 mph, 1/4 mph jog @ 5.5 mph, 1/4 mph @ 6 mph (170+ HR) 3 miles 36m45s, 1/4 mile walk @ 3.5 mph, 1/4 mile @ 3 mph, 2 min cool down, 3 1/2+ miles <46 min

HS crunch 100x25 (my gut seemed to have grown since dropping this exercise)

leg stretches

Elliptical trainer : 40 minutes level 2, mostly over 6 "mph" 4.03 "miles" mostly in the 140s BPM HR range, which rose toward 150 near the end
