I used to park my bicycle in the back of the fruit store and buy conventional for awhile to cut corners and save money. One day I decided to take a look at the boxes of produce in the back outside the store and they were like warning sprayed with or treated with.... some crazy scary sounding poisons I can't even pronounce that were like 80 letters long each word.
