Request: "Fun, easy and quick"

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Except for the summers, I don't have much time to spend preparing food. I was wondering if you might be kind enough to post your 1 or 2 favourite raw dishes that fall under the category of "fun, easy and quick". I've made some decently adventurous (for me, at least) raw stuff in the past, but some of those dishes aren't as practical when I need something fast. So, breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack - if you give me some of your quick favourites I'll be really grateful!

One of my favorites is made from half an avocado and a banana, or double or triple that. mash them separately with a fork on a breadboard, add to a bowl, and mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon and ground flax. Tastes awesome.

Now that's what I'm talking about! I'll have to try that soon. Thanks! This is the type of stuff I wouldn't think of on my own.

I eat bananas, peaches, melon, apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables, carrots, and many other fruits and vegetables in season. No spices, no mixing, most of the time mono. I love to taste the magic of each piece of food.

Now that's what I'm talking about also

honestly though, I made some wicked romaine tacos tonight for dinner.

All you need is some big romaine leaves, make some guacamole or slice avocado.

For filling chop some tomatoes, grate some carrots, raw organic corn, whatever other veg you want. I used a little mango, chopped spinach, carrot, avocado and sunflower sprouts tonight.

I don't bother with the raw walnut "meat" Cashew "cheese" raw gourmet stuff. It takes way too much time and I'm allergic to nuts, but I have seen some pretty wicked looking raw tacos with all that jazz.

Just fill the leaves up and eat like a taco.

Why did you steal my recipe ? What a jerk !!!

Excepted your step 4 is different.. how do you ear a banana ?

Another one you can do very easy. Buy a butt load of banana's.

Blend in a blender with cold water water. OMG you have to try tr it.

Note: Also try freezing your banana's. Make sure they are peeled first.

It'll be creamy enough to make banana ice cream.. OMG It's so good.

Here's another raw recipe I've been indulging in lately, especially after hard training on hot days:

1. Grab watermelon

2. Slice watermelon in half

3. Get spoon

4. Dig in

Note: Recipe works great with other melons as well.

Raw Chard Wraps.

Bunch of Chard

Sliced cucumbers, Grated carrots, and cabbage.

Raw Hummus (blend zucchini, raw tahini, and lemon) You could add garlic but I prefer not to in mine.

spread hummus on the chard, and wrap veggies in chard.

Amazing good stuff

Say what? Do you mean I would have to chop, grate and make a mess everywhere in my kitchen.. Way to much for me to think about.

Jeeze..

slam it past ya jaw

shoes on, out the door.

to a life that offers more.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hy!

I think the sprouted lentils are great with tomoatos and they are Power!

Sprout the lentils for 2days, and add some sliced veggies like tomato, carrot, etc...

i eat this every day, full of carbs and protein and easy to make, you just have to rinse them in the morning and in the evening.

i also have other easy and nutritient recipe, but the if you dont even have time for this then just grab a banana or some other fruit
