dropSoul
but I believe that what Meher Baba was emphasizing, as this is stated all through his writings, is utter honesty with yourself and others. I don't know Meher Baba...but I love it Here's a site that I did a long time ago, awesome quotes, such as: http://meherbabatampabay.org/ Give up all forms of parrotry. Start practicing whatever you truly feel to be true and justly to be just. Do not make a show of your faith and beliefs. You have not to give up your religion, but to give up clinging to the husk of mere ritual and ceremony. To get to the fundamental core of Truth underlying all religions, reach beyond religion. -- Meher Baba
crashnburn
How energetic we feel after eating is often related to blood glucose/insulin levels. We can measure the calories, glycemic index, glycemic load, digestible fiber, etc., etc. of different foods and they are all viable units of measure. The problem with trying to compare foods according to ONE unit of measure is that all the variables combined are more important than any one unit. In my opinion. Agree with you. As I said before.. I loved your first question - HOW DO WE MEASURE IT. In fact, I love this post as well - Because, you are thinking on a newer Paradigm. . In fact, I agree.. a Single Unit cannot represent what might actually be "complex" bio-chemical structures that have varying impact on the human body ... which might itself be in such variable conditions. RobertSupreme
Yeah just measuring calories is a pretty shallow way of analysing your diet imo. a Single Unit cannot represent what might actually be "complex" bio-chemical structures that have varying impact on the human body ... which might itself be in such variable conditions. +1 STOP...Paradigm Shift....Doo Do Do Do, DoDo DoDo Can't Touch This

chrisjs
So we are all agreed that the moon is infact made of cheese, & has exactly 34,009,876 calories? Yes but how would our bodies use those calories?
